Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Motherson Sumi(numbers of share traded: 46.33 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 38.07 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 31.06 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 12.02 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 9.56 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 9.08 crore), JM Financial(numbers of share traded: 8.88 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 8.30 crore), BHEL(numbers of share traded: 8.18 crore) and GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 6.77 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 117.75 points up at 22474.05, while BSE Sensex ended up 408.86 points at 74085.99.
On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.31 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 2.01 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.76 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
