Santosh suman thanked NDA

After filing nomination, Hindustani Awam Morcha President Santosh Manjhi said that he thanks the allies of NDA. Again he is going to the Legislative Council. Said, "It is our party's decision to send us to the Legislative Council. Our party will contest the lok sabha elections in the NDA. Seat distribution will also happen soon. Talks are being held on how many seats our party will contest in the lok sabha elections." There will be no need for voting

According to the current strength of MLAs, six candidates from nda and five from Grand Alliance can be elected in the council. If elected unopposed, there will be no need for voting. 21 MLAs are required for one seat in the Legislative Council. Out of the 11 seats of bihar Legislative Council for which elections are to be held on march 21, nda currently has eight seats. The Grand Alliance has three. Nominations will be filed till march 11.

Which seats are becoming vacant?

The seats which are falling vacant are Mangal Pandey, Shahnawaz Hussain and Sanjay Paswan from BJP. The seats of chief minister Nitish Kumar, Sanjay Jha, Rameshwar Mahato and Khalid Anwar are falling vacant from JDU. The seats of former Chief Ministers Rabri Devi and Ramchandra Purve from RJD are falling vacant. One seat each of Premchandra Mishra from congress and Santosh suman from Hindustani Awam Morcha is falling vacant.
