Facebook, Instagram and Messenger suffer major outage

Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Threads are currently down in Ireland.

The outage appears to be an international one with reports of the services being down in multiple countries

The Irish Independent has contact Meta, which has yet to make a statement.

Facebook and Instagram are used by a majority of Irish people, according to recent surveys.
