Simon Jordan believes Sheffield United need to get rid of Chris Wilder right now and Blades fans 'deserve much better'.

They suffered yet another humiliating defeat at Bramall Lane on Monday night. Wilder's side fell victim to a 6-0 mauling by title challengers Arsenal, with four of the goals being scored inside the opening 25 minutes.

The Blades' owner Prince Abdullah told talkSPORT last summer that he wanted to have a 'break' from football ownership, a statement that foreshadowed what was set to be a disappointing season.

Sheffield United lost Man City loanee Tommy Doyle to Wolves amongst other stars this summer. Top scorer Iliman Ndiaye was also sold, followed by a lack of investment necessary to survive in the Premier League.

Paul Heckingbottom was sacked earlier in the season following a poor start, with Wilder returning shortly after. The Blades are still struggling, though, sitting rock bottom of the league with just 13 points to their name and currently 11 points off safety.

Speaking about what's gone wrong for the Blades, who finished second in the Championship last term, Simon Jordan said: "They didn't help themselves did they. They didn't give themselves an opportunity to be successful as a result of that.
