Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 195.16 points down at 73677.13 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, IIFL Finance(down 19.99 per cent), Sindhu Trade(down 17.54 per cent), P G Industry(down 13.86 per cent), IIFL Securities(down 13.33 per cent) and Yasho Industries(down 12.61 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks closed in the green, while 30 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 49.3 points down at 22356.3.
On the BSE, Vijay Textiles, Cressanda Sol, Unistar Multi, Vegetable Products and Kaiser Corporation hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kimia Biosciences, Capri Global, SAB Industries, Ram Info and Auto Corp Goa touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
