Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 6186.08 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2721.52 crore), BHEL(Rs. 1670.42 crore), Aavas Financiers(Rs. 1638.98 crore), SBI(Rs. 1414.91 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 1100.99 crore), RIL(Rs. 1063.49 crore), NHPC(Rs. 1054.35 crore), Muthoot Finance(Rs. 1018.24 crore) and ICICI Bank(Rs. 1004.89 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 49.3 points down at 22356.3, while BSE Sensex fell 195.16 points to 73677.13.
In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 3.52 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 3.13 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.77 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.63 per cent) and State Bank of India(up 1.55 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 4.25 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 4.22 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.95 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.88 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.76 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
