ICICI Pru Life shares up 1.56% as Nifty drops

NEW DELHI: Shares of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. traded 1.56 per cent up in Tuesday's trade at 12:49PM (IST). Around 27,544 shares changed hands on the counter.

The counter opened at Rs 546.05 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 556.9 and Rs 540.45, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 615.55 and a 52-week low of Rs 380.95.

Total market cap of the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. stood at Rs 79872.68 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 26849.7 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2023, up 49.51 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 17958.08 crore and up 53.72 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 17466.3 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 226.92 crore, up 2.42 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Dec-2023, DIIs held 5.58 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 14.73 per cent and the promoters 73.27 per cent.

According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 87.56 and a price-to-book ratio of 6.23.
