3-year-old boy pulled from backyard pool in Nash County

A 3-year-old boy is okay after being pulled from a backyard pool in Nash County.

On Monday before 9:15 a.m., emergency responders were at a home on Sandy Road near Nashville where officials said a child fell into a pool.

The child was awake and breathing when first responders arrived but was transported to a hospital out of precaution, officials said.

Sky 5 flew over the home and above-ground pool after the scene had cleared.
