Vivo has confirmed that the successor to its V29 series will keep its date with India on March 7, 2024. We know that there will be two devices – the Vivo V30 and the Vivo V30 Pro that. A post by tipster Abhishek Yadav on X (formerly Twitter) suggests that the devices are likely to be priced at Rs 33,999 and Rs 41,999 (for the Pro version), respectively. There are quite a few interesting features that make these devices a solid option if you’re looking for a smartphone around Rs 30,000-40,000. Here’s what we know:
Cool shades: We’re likely to see both devices be released in the same three cool shades that include an Andaman Blue that also makes a strong connect with Indian consumers.
Immersive display: Both the V30 and V30 are expected to flaunt a 120Hz refresh rate and likely to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display. We’re likely to see both devices share the same display specs
Under the hood: The Pro variant is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. The V30, on the other hand, is likely to be propelled by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Both devices are expected to offer hardware variants that go up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The V30 is expected to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery. Both devices are likely to be slinky and weigh under 190 gm.
Camera specs: The V30 is set to feature a dual rear cam with a 50MP primary lens and a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens. The Pro version is likely to offer a triple rear cam with three 50MP lenses. Both devices might flaunt 50MP selfie cameras making them formidable in the camera department. Vivo has also teased a unique ‘Aura light’ for studio quality portraits.
Both devices are likely to be powered by Vivo’s custom Funtouch OS 14 that is built on Android 14.
