Garda analyst who exposed crime stats errors claims she was sexually harassed

A civilian analyst who exposed errors in garda homicide data has said that she was put under "terrible pressure and harassment" to sign off on a "one-sided" report by a review group, which she said was a “flagrant attempt” to undermine the methodology that had identified the issue in the first place.

Lois West told the Workplace Relations Commission today that her line manager at the Garda Siochána Analytics Service (GSAS) had his arm grabbed by a senior garda officer and was told to intervene.
