Chicalim/Panaji: Vasco United breezed past UC Utorda 2-0, Patrong SC edged Vaddem SC 3-2 while DBO Fatorda also held on for a 3-2 win against Ucassaim SC in the GFA U-15 Division II League fixtures on Monday.

At the Chicalim ground, Vasco United registered a convincing 2-0 victory over UC Utorda. Farhan Shaikh (33’) and Aryan Tirodkar (52’) found the target for Vasco United, securing all three points for their team. Utorda, despite their efforts, were unable to penetrate the Vasco defense and fell short on the scoreboard.

The second match at Chicalim ground was a closer affair. Vaddem SC took the lead through Craig Goes’ strike in the 32nd minute, but Patrong SC responded quickly. Ayush Naik (28’) equalized for Patrong SC, and Ansh Shetkar (30+2’) put them ahead shortly before halftime. X Shaikh (36’) added another goal for Patrong SC to extend their lead. Though Vivek Kumar pulled one back for Vaddem SC in the 41st minute, they were unable to find the equalizer, handing Patrong SC a narrow 3-2 victory.
