CHESHIRE — Assisted Living Home Care Services has acquired Day Kimball Homemakers, its latest move to expand its award-winning caregiving and companion senior services.
Terms were not disclosed.
The Cheshire-based, family-owned company provides quality home care to residents across the state and employs more than 700 caregivers.
Assisted Living Services was ranked on the 2020 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies and recognized by Home Care Pulse as a “Best of Home Care Leader In Excellence,” a designation given to the best home care providers in the nation.

Kramer said the company is committed to a smooth transition for employees and clients, and all Day Kimball Homemakers employees have been offered positions with Assisted Living Services.
As such, he said, Day Kimball Homemakers’ clients will not experience any interruption in services.
Day Kimball Healthcare at Home is unaffected by the recent sale and will continue to offer high-quality home health care and hospice services.
Assisted Living Services cares for elderly individuals and couples in a variety of settings – from private homes to retirement communities and senior living communities, offering either competitive hourly or live-in home care services for each family’s flexibility. The company provides free in-home evaluations that outline specific care goals for the elderly client with the ultimate goal of helping them age safely and happily.
Its services include assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming, medication reminders, transferring and mobility, meal preparation, incontinence care, light housekeeping and safety monitoring.
