‘What has he just done?’ – Gary Neville and Gary Lineker can’t believe Erling Haaland’s miss of the season contender

Erling Haaland had a miss of the season contender in Sunday's Manchester derby.

The Manchester City striker somehow blazed the ball over the bar from just a couple of yards out when it seemed easier to score.

Rodri had played a ball to the back post to Phil Foden, who then headed it to an unmarked Haaland.

The Norwegian opted to use his feet rather than his head, and put the ball over the bar.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Gary Neville said: "What has he just done?"

He added: "Did he try to put it into the top of the net? Did he try to be too clever?"
