Kerry-based ‘sickfluencer’ and fraudster Samantha Cookes loses compensation claim against landlord

A Kerry-based convicted fraudster who posed as a social media “sickfluencer” until she was exposed online has had her attempt to get compensation from her former landlord thrown out and been ordered to pay him €4,200 in rent arrears and damages.
English-born Carrie Jade Williams, whose real name is Samantha Cookes, filed a complaint against her Kenmare landlord Tim Hourigan to the Residential Tenancies Board (RTB) complaining that her tenancy was wrongly terminated.
