With several releases planned for this year, Sara Ali Khan is sure to captivate audiences with her highly anticipated patriotic thriller-drama Ae Watan Mere Watan, which is produced by Karan Johar.

Sara will be seen playing the inspirational role of Usha Mehta, a freedom fighter, in this movie. Karan Johar today dopped a teaser and revealed Sara’s first look as Usha Mehta, in which he paid homage to the unsung heroes of India and their inspiring stories. In addition, the trailer’s release date, March 4, has been revealed.

Before the release of the trailer, KJo released a gripping teaser on social media today, giving an insight into the film. The teaser has increased the expectation from the film, as after the teaser was unveiled, it received a positive response from the audience.

In the newly-released teaser, Karan honored some of India’s unsung heroes and highlighted their untold stories. He presented the audience with Usha, a fearless 22-year-old who, during the 1942 Quit India Movement, was known for her unwavering fearlessness and great patriotism. Through the use of an underground radio, she bravely brought the country together against the repressive British Raj.

After hearing about Usha’s bravery, Karan was moved to remember Captain Vikram Batra, which was on screen played by Sidharth Malhotra in Shershaah, a brave soldier who gave his life in the Kargil War, and Alia Bhatt’s character Sehmat from Raazi, a young woman who eavesdrops on a Pakistani army family.

Sharing the teaser, Karan Johar wrote, her words echoed through the airwaves, her dedication awakened the spirit of independence in every heart.

Ae Watan Mere Watan, which is directed and co-written by Kannan, features an impressive cast with important characters played by Sara Ali Khan, Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O’Neil, and Anand Tiwari. Audiences can also expect a special appearance from Emraan Hashmi.

Sidharth Malhotra and Karan Johar took to their Instagram handle on Thursday and unveiled Yodha Trailer on social media. The trailer gives a glimpse into the action packed journey of Yodha (Sidharth Malhotra) on a mission along with gripping mysteries and high octane thrills. The trailer is almost 3 minutes long and shows the journey of Sidharth Malhotra as a proud child, who saw his father serve in the Indian army.

His father was suspended and labeled a traitor while Sidharth’s Arun was still doing all he could to protect the country. In the trailer Sidharth Malhotra is seen fighting terrorists mid-air to rescue passengers on a hijacked Air India flight during a thrilling operation. Disha Patani play the role of a cabin crew member in the film.

In one point in the trailer Sidharth Malhotra admits that he a crazy Indian soldier. A few days earlier Karan Johar shared the first song Zindagi Tere Naam, from the film. Yodha has been directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha and is scheduled to be released in cinemas on March 15.

Dharma Productions also shared the trailer on its YouTube channel and wrote Brace for impact as this will create turbulence unlike any other on the screens. Packed with action and thrills, Sidharth Nalhotra is all set to be Yodha.

Earlier the film was supposed to release on November 11, 2022 but the makers of the film pushed it to July 2023, September 15, December 15 and then it was postponed to December 8. The release date has been further shifted to March 15, 2024.
