Shubman Gill caught Francis, the father of new recruit Robin Minz of the Gujarat Titans, off guard on Wednesday at Ranchi's Bisra Munda Airport. Shubman Gill, who will captain the gujarat Titans for the first time in the 2024 indian Premier League, acknowledged Francis Xavier Minz's efforts to support his son Robin's goals on social media by posting a picture of their meeting. After a bidding battle, Robin, who was acquired by gujarat Titans for Rs 3.60 crore, will make indian Premier League history as the first tribal guy to play for a club (IPL).
