Regarding the upcoming lok sabha elections 2024, a big meeting was organized in the Commissionerate auditorium under the chairmanship of district Magistrate S. raj Lingam with ARO and officers in-charge for the election work. During this meeting, the district Magistrate handed over the responsibilities for election work to the officers and AROs of the concerned department. Necessary guidelines were given to complete all the important points on time.

Instructions to conduct voter awareness campaign

The district Magistrate said that as per the guidelines of the election Commission, data feeding of all the employees should be ensured and arrangements should be completed at all the booths. Also, voter awareness programs should be run on a large scale in cities and rural areas through which a large number of people can reach the booths to vote in the upcoming lok sabha elections. Special efforts should be made to connect new voters also.
