IRCTC shares decline 2.13% as Sensex slides

Shares of the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. traded at Rs 932.0 on BSE at 12:48PM (IST) on Wednesday, down 2.13 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 557.15 and a high of Rs 1049.75.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a opening in the morning.

A total of 70,630 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:48PM (IST).

The stock of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 74632.0 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 67.5, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 18.5. Return on equity (ROE) was at 40.58 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 87 stocks traded in the green, while 413 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 62.4 per cent in the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2023 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 7.34 per cent and 11.97 per cent, respectively.
