Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty gained 22.0 points to 22144.05, while the BSE Sensex traded 78.59 points up at 72868.72.
On the other hand, T T Ltd, Moksh Ornaments Ltd., Railtel Corp, Dhruv Consultancy and Kellton Tech stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, TCS, Power Grid, Eicher Motors, HDFC Life and Grasim Inds. were among the top gainers on the NSE.
UPL, ONGC, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Finance and Dr. Reddys were among the top losers.
