Flights departing their origin airports for Denver International Airport were grounded for nearly two hours, and nearly 400 flights were delayed as snow squalls blow through the Denver metro area Tuesday morning.

The ground stop for departures to DIA was lifted just before 11:20 a.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Additionally, Peña Boulevard outbound from the airport is closed at Tower Road due to a multiple-vehicle crash.

There are 377 delays, the majority of which are through Southwest and United airlines, according to airline tracking site FlightAware as of 11 a.m.

Southwest Airlines has 134 delays, and United Airlines has 138 delays.

Regional airline SkyWest has 50 delays, Delta Airlines has 15 delays; and CommuteAir has 10 delays.

SkyWest also has seven canceled flights, and Southwest Airlines has one canceled flight.

Over 900 flights were delayed Monday because of high winds.
