Bulk deals: ICICI Bank increases stake in ICICI Lombard

CMS Info Systems promoter Sion Investment Holdings PTE offloaded its entire stake in the company on February 27. It sold 4,17,71,975 shares or a 26.69 percent stake at Rs 370.38 per share.

Societe Generale, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore PTE, Kotak Small Cap fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, IIFL Securities, Think India Opportunities Master Fund LP, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority-WAY, Nomura Funds Ireland Public Ltd CoIndia Equity Fund, AIG Global Investment Corporation, India Acorn ICAV, WF Asian Reconnaissance Fund and Mathew Cyriac, Co-founder and Chairman designate of Florintree Advisors were the buyers who picked up CMS Info Systems shares.

CMS Info Systems shares declined 2.52 percent to Rs 387.

Meanwhile, Bharti Enterprises offloaded 62,50,900 shares, or a 1.26 percent stake, in ICIC Lombard General Insurance Company on February 27 for Rs 1,666.35 a share. Bharti held a 3.7 percent stake in the company as of December 2023.

ICICI Bank picked up 69,82,852 shares, or 1.41 percent stake, at the same price in ICICI Lombard. The promoter held a 47.91 percent stake in ICICI Lombard till December 2023. Shares of ICICI Lombard General Insurance zoomed 4.69 percent to Rs 1,728.

In BGR Energy Systems, promoter Sasikala Raghupathy continued selling her stake. Sasikala sold 7.03 percent stake or 50,76,571 shares at Rs 64.95 per share. Sasikala had offloaded a 2.51 percent stake in the previous session.

BGR Energy Systems stock fell 19.96 percent to Rs 60.95 in the session.

In Sapphire Foods India, Foreign Portfolio Investor Wellington Trust company sold 3,25,298 shares or 0.51 percent stake at Rs 1497.08 per share. Wellington held a 1.95 percent stake in the company as of December 2023.

Sapphire Foods India stock closed 1.02 percent higher at Rs 1,498.95.

Foreign investor Saif Partners India IV offloaded 6,00,000 shares or 0.77 percent stake in Senco Gold at an average price of Rs 875.08. Saif Partners held an 11.63 percent stake in the company as of December 2023.

Shares of Senco Gold surged 6.96 percent in the session to close at Rs 874.5.

In AVG Logistics, Arnold Holdings sold 73,736 shares or 0.62 percent stake at an average price of Rs 628.46. Arnold Holdings held a 1.53 percent stake in the logistics company that is engaged in providing road transportation services, warehousing and railway transportation.

Shares of AVG Logistics closed flat at Rs 622.95.

Columbia Petro Chem acquired a 0.51 percent stake in BLS International Services. Columbia bought 21,00,000 shares at an average price of Rs 373.1.

Shares of BLS International Services gained 2.1 percent higher and closed at Rs 375.2.
