Former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich coach Paul Clement has expressed his interest in the vacant manager’s job with the Republic of Ireland.

The much-travelled Clement has been on the FAI staff before as he worked with Don Givens at U-21 level and was also part of the backroom staff for a senior friendly against Brazil when Givens was working as caretaker manager. And now Clement, who has also coached at PSG, Everton and Chelsea, says the Ireland post would be attractive to him.
