OPPO’s new sub Rs 25,000 smartphone: F25 Pro set for February 29 launch

If you’re in the market for a sub Rs 25,000 smartphone, OPPO’s forthcoming F series device might be worth waiting for. OPPO’s India website already has a ‘notify me’ option for the OPPO F25 Pro that is scheduled for a February 29 launch. The F25 Pro is likely to be a key device for OPPO at this competitive price point and is similar to the OPPO Reno 11F 5G that debuted in Indonesia recently.

What we already know:

Ready for your adventures: OPPO has positioned the F235 Pro as the slimmest 5G smartphone with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance, a great feature at this price.

Funky design: OPPO’s F series devices stand out with their design aesthetic, the F25 Pro is no exception. It comes in a unique Lava Red and an Ocean Blue colour way with wave-like patterns which are reminiscent of the OPPO Reno 11F 5G.

Two storage options: The device comes in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants. We could see the device powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, this is not yet confirmed on the company’s notify me page though,

AI-powered cam? OPPO claims it’s a first in this segment - the F25 Pro 5G supports 4K video recording on both front and rear cameras. We can expect quite a few AI-driven camera features too.

Borderless display: You get a 120Hz borderless AMOLED display that promises to deliver an immersive experience.

Ultra-quick charging: Zippy charging is a given with OPPO. This one includes a 67 SuperVOOC charger in the box
