Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 285.51 points down at 72857.29 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Shervani Ind(down 19.99 per cent), Shreeshay Engineers(down 19.13 per cent), Thinkink Picturez(down 10.22 per cent), Khaitan(India)(down 8.68 per cent) and VeerhealthCare(down 8.30 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 13 stocks traded in the green, while 37 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 91.05 points down at 22121.65.

On the BSE, Adcon Capital Servic, Binny Ltd, Vibhor Steel Tubes, Midwest Gold and Bombay Talkies Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Remi Edelstahl, Emmessar Biotech, Shradha Industries, Akashdeep Metal and Simplex Casting touched their fresh 52-week highs.
