United Spirits shares drop 1.26% as Sensex falls

Shares of the United Spirits Ltd. traded at Rs 1151.2 on BSE at 11:57AM (IST) on Monday, down 1.26 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 730.9 and a high of Rs 1179.95.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 66.49 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 17.45 per share and 9.17 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 4,476 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:57AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 84376.34 crore and is part of the Beverages & Distilleries industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 54.91 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 20.34 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1166.45 and Rs 1151.0.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 0.79 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2023. FII and MF ownership in United Spirits Ltd. stood at 16.23 per cent and 10.39 per cent, respectively.
