Jayden Danns is a Carabao Cup winner after only 42 minutes as a professional footballer and he is already continuing his family’s success. 

The 18-year-old helped Liverpool get their hands on their first piece of silverware this season at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp trusted him to come on alongside fellow academy products James McConnell and Bobby Clark to beat Chelsea

They managed to overcome the Blues deep in extra-time with Danns playing his part and causing problems for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

He was able to get his hands on the Carabao Cup trophy and there are hopes that it will be the first of many throughout his career. 

And Danns could well be destined for success considering his family’s history.

The forward is the son of former Birmingham, Crystal Palace and Leicester midfielder Neil Danns who had a footballing career spanning almost two decades. 

Neil was a play-off winner in his playing days while his father, Neil Sr, has success in multiple other fields. 

Danns’ grandfather is a former European and British skateboarding champion. 

Neil Sr was dominating the skateboarding scene in Britain by the age of 18 and then conquered Europe in 1989.
