Shortly after its chief executive Nathan McDonnell appeared in Tralee District Court on Friday, charged in connection with the biggest seizure of crystal meth in Ireland, Ballyseedy Home and Garden Centre issued a heartfelt statement on its social media pages.

The home and garden centre, a business built up by the McDonnell family since 1992, includes a café and a Meadows and Byrne store, and has won numerous industry awards.
