Akhilesh Yadav joins Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Agra days after seat-sharing deal
This came days after the seat-sharing deal between SP and Congress was finalised for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday joined Congress leader Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra. This came days after the seat-sharing deal between SP and Congress was finalised for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who played the crucial role in finalising the seat-sharing deal between SP and Congress, was also present at the Yatra.
During the Yatra, the former Uttar Pradesh CM Yadav thanked the people of UP and said the biggest challenges, in the coming days, are to save the democracy and the Constitution to fulfil the dream of the BR Ambedkar, which has been ruined by the BJP-led central government. He gave a slogan, “BJP Haatao, Desh Bachao.”
The Wayanad MP, while addressing the public, said that the poor in this country face injustice all the time. The reason for hatred is injustice, so we have added the word justice to our journey, he added.
It has been a year since Congress completed the Bharat Jodo Yatra, walking 4,000 km from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. During the yatra, a person told Rahul that he had been trying to open a “Mohabbat Ki Dukan” in “Nafrat Ka Bazaar.” Now, along with Yadav and Priyanka, we are trying to do it again, Rahul added.
Priyanka Gandhi also expressed her happiness over Yadav joining the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra today. Earlier, while addressing the public, Priyanka said that the BJP has been in power for 10 years and during this time, many big events such as the G20 Summit took place. Everyone said that the respect of the country is increasing due to such events, and Congress agreed to it, she added.
However, she questioned whether the respect of the country is not connected to the young, policemen, and students. She highlighted the lack of job opportunities for the youth, farmers still protesting on roads, and inflation being a burden for the people of the country.

Just like Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain are in jail, you will also put officers in jail by filing false cases of ED, CBI, Kejriwal further alleged.

During a press conference, Kejriwal spoke about the alleged attempt of the BJP-led central government to prevent the implementation of the one-time settlement scheme for unpaid water bills in the city.
He also stated that if the BJP was in power, they would have disconnected everyone’s water supply. However, he assured the citizens that he would not let this happen.
