Flora & Fizz: QT Wellington Transforms into an Enchanted Champagne Wonderland

This February, the Gallery Lounge at QT Wellington is hosting Flora & Fizz, in collaboration with Perrier-Jouët. This distinctive event invites the people of Wellington to immerse themselves in a captivating environment filled with lush greenery and unique decorations that reflect the elegance of Perrier-Jouët’s signature bottle, along with exclusive tastings of their Champagne.

From February 10 to May 5, the hotel’s artistic bar area will undergo a magical transformation to celebrate the fusion of expert craftsmanship and the art of living well. Champagne enthusiasts will have the opportunity to enjoy a tableside tasting of Champagne, served from a whimsically designed Perrier-Jouët tree. Guests can choose from two curated tasting experiences:

• The ‘Enchanted Discoveries’ option, which includes a selection of five Perrier-Jouët Champagnes, featuring the exquisite Belle Époque and Belle Époque Rosé, priced at $105 per person.
• The ‘Taste of Nature’ option, presenting a trio of Champagnes from the Perrier-Jouët Blason range, including Blanc de Blancs, Brut, and Rosé, for $39 per person.

The celebration extends to the Hippopotamus restaurant with a special Champagne High Tea available on weekends during the Flora & Fizz event. Inspired by Perrier-Jouët’s effervescence, the QT Wellington pastry team has prepared a delightful selection of treats such as raspberry and Champagne macarons, Chaource cheese puffs, and hazelnut dacquoise with salted caramel ganache. Additionally, guests may enhance their High Tea experience with a choice of either the ‘Taste of Nature’ or ‘Enchanted Discoveries’ Champagne tastings.

Throughout the thirteen-week event, the Gallery Lounge will feature promotions on the complete selection of Perrier-Jouët Champagnes, available by the glass, bottle, and magnum sizes.
