The new Gateway Trail was recently opened by the City of Prescott, offering easy access to the Peavine Trail and the scenic Point of Rocks. The 0.5-mile trail begins along Highway 89 near the intersection with the old Highway 89A corridor, and connects up with the Peavine, about a half-mile north of the Point of Rocks.
