Some Liverpool supporters have urged the club to recall Fabio Carvalho to help cope with their injury crisis after he scored an absolute screamer for Hull City.

Reds fans think they’ve got another gem on their hands after watching the 21-year-old smash one in from 20 yards.

Carvalho joined Hull in January after being recalled early from his unfruitful season-loan spell at RB Leipzig - but now the Anfield faithful want him back after showing his class in the Championship.

The attacking midfielder put Hull 1-0 up against West Brom on Saturday with an arrowed finish - hitting the top corner with a firmly struck drive from outside of the box.

That made it three goals in eight league outings since joining the Tigers on January 10, including goals in back-to-back games, with some supporters making comparisons to Harvey Elliott.

Carvalho and Elliott were both signed by Liverpool from Fulham, with Elliott breaking into Jurgen Klopp’s senior side and becoming a first-team regular following his impressive loan with Blackburn in the second tier.
