India Vs England: Akash Deep makes dream debut as Bihar seamer takes 3 wickets in first six overs
After receiving his Test Debut cap from head coach Rahul Dravid, Akash Deep touched his mother’s feet and took her blessing. Deep moved on from his mistake and took three wickets in the first session. Ben Ducket (11) was caught by Dhruv Jurel, while Ollie Pope (O) was given LBW. Zak, who earlier survived due to Akash Deep’s no ball, was bowled after scoring 42.

Fast bowler Akash Deep made a dream debut to his Test career on Friday as he picked up three crucial wickets in his first six overs, leaving England reeling after they had won the toss and elected to bat first in the fourth Test match against India at the JSCA stadium in Ranchi. Akash Deep was almost unplayable in the early part of the first session.
Captain Rohit Sharma handed Akash Deep the new ball from the other hand, and the right arm seamer impressed critics with his bowling. Akash Deep’s pace remained in the 130s and Jurel had to make quite a brilliant take off the third ball, which flew down the leg side of Duckett. He conceded just two runs off his first over.
He picked up the wicket of Zak Crawley in his second over, but the delivery was declared a no-ball by the umpire. He then picked up the wickets of Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope afterwards and smashed Crawley’s off stump. This time it was a legitimate delivery and Crawley was sent back to the pavilion.
