Hosting a Passover seder means making cherished memories with family and friends while facilitating connection across millennia of Jewish ancestry. It’s also, frankly, a whole lot of work.
It requires thorough cleaning to banish leavened food from the home, and then shopping for and cooking an array of dishes, all according to kosher for Passover rules. (Never mind all the cleaning up that comes after guests leave!)
So if you’re attending a seder this year, don’t forget to properly express your gratitude for the gracious invitation — and that may mean bringing a thoughtful Passover gift for the host or hostess. (In 2024, Passover starts at sundown on Monday, April 22 and ends on the evening of Monday, April 30.)
Appropriate Passover gift ideas may include items specific to the occasion, such as a matzah and afikomen cover, a cup for Elijah… or even a nail art set inspired by the 10 plagues. (Why not have fun with the theme?) Or, consider a gift of Judaica that can be used any time of year, such as a kiddish cup. And you can’t go wrong with kosher-for-Passover food gifts, such as chocolate-dipped matzahs or other desserts.
No matter what you’re looking for, there's a perfect Passover gift on our list.
