For years, Amanda Brown fantasised about the many ways her abuser Davy Tweed might die. She listened out for news reports of fatal car accidents, particularly locations that were local, or areas he might be travelling in, and hoped they involved him.
At one point, after one of Tweed’s family members died of cancer, she wondered if he too would face the same fate.
