Private company achieves first Moon landing for US in over 50 years with Odysseus spacecraft
Odysseus, a spacecraft constructed and operated by private US company Intuitive Machines landed close to the moon's south pole on Thursday 22nd of February 2024.
It marks the first US landing on the moon in more than 50 years since the Apollo program ended and the first made by the commercial sector.
