Chelsea will battle Liverpool for English football's first major trophy of the season in the Carabao Cup final this weekend.

The Premier League giants will lock horns at Wembley on Sunday for the third time this campaign but this time a major honour is on line.

The two teams faced off in the 2022 Carabao Cup final, which Liverpool eventually prevailed in a penalty shoot-out.

Chelsea vs Liverpool: Kick-off time

The 2023/24 Carabao Cup final will be held on Sunday, February 25.

It will be held at Wembley Stadium and will kick-off at 3pm instead of the originally scheduled 4:30pm.

An EFL spokesperson said: "Following representations from the Metropolitan Police UK, the local safety advisory group has determined the 2024 Carabao Cup final will now kick-off at 3pm.
