Oriental Trimex Ltd.(down 4.90%), Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(down 2.35%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(down 1.53%), Pokarna Ltd.(down 1.20%), Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(down 0.89%), The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(down 0.46%), NMDC Ltd.(down 0.30%), Coal India Ltd.(down 0.29%) and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(down 0.26%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 4.75 points down at 22212.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 15.44 points at 73142.8.
Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 1.51%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.3%), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.23%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.1%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.06%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.03%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.02%), Wipro Ltd.(up 0.97%), Cipla Ltd.(up 0.91%) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 0.81%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.28%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.23%), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.05%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.05%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.93%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.92%), State Bank of India(down 0.9%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.87%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.86%) and ITC Ltd.(down 0.74%) closed in the red.
