A resounding cheer welcomes a groundbreaking flight route – and along with it, an exclusive set-jetting experience for visitors of Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts. Marking a historic moment, the inaugural U.S. commercial flight touches down in the stunning Ocho Rios, Jamaica on February 24th. In celebration of this effortless voyage to the Caribbean Riviera, Sandals and Beaches introduce the captivating “Love and Let Fly” package, transporting travelers’ dreams from the silver screen to the sun-kissed Jamaican shores cherished by filmmakers and holidaymakers for generations.

ENJOY MORE BONDING TIME, LESS TRAVEL HASSLE

Starting from the renowned Caribbean hub of Miami International Airport (MIA), travelers will land at Ian Fleming International Airport (OCJ), mere moments away from a captivating array of Sandals and Beaches Resorts, as well as the stunning natural wonders that have served as backdrops for some of Hollywood’s most iconic films, including the celebrated series that inspired the appropriately named AA4007 flight.

Operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the new route offers a luxurious experience aboard an intimate, 76-passenger E175 jet, reminiscent of a private jet journey befitting a secret agent. Upon arrival, couples and families bound for Ocho Rios will be swiftly transported to one of four award-winning luxury all-inclusive resorts – the brand-new Sandals Dunn’s River, Sandals Royal Plantation, Sandals Ochi, or Beaches Ocho Rios – with a seamless transition from the terminal to the beach in as little as 30 minutes.

“LOVE AND LET FLY” WITH SANDALS, BEACHES, AND BEYOND

Exclusively crafted for passengers arriving aboard AA4007, the “Love and Let Fly” package transforms the jet-setting experience into a cinematic adventure inspired by the growing trend of movie-themed tourism. Offering a journey through both cinematic history and Jamaica’s breathtaking landscapes, this limited-time offer includes a complimentary Island Routes Powerboat Adventure for guests staying at participating Sandals Resorts in Ocho Rios. This all-day excursion promises an unforgettable blend of hidden gems and famous island locations along the scenic North Coast, including a visit to the iconic Laughing Waters beach, featured in the James Bond movie, Dr. No. Families staying at Beaches Ocho Rios will delight in a complimentary Island Routes Dunn’s River Catamaran Cruise, where snorkeling adventures are paired with panoramic views of the Jamaican coastline, including a stop at the iconic Dunn’s River Falls, also immortalized in Dr. No.

Guests can raise a glass to new connections on the north coast with AA4007-inspired cocktail specials, such as a Jamaican twist on the iconic Old Fashioned. Exclusive to Sandals Dunn’s River this spring, the Jamaican Rum Old Fashioned features the limited-edition Blackwell 007 Rum, available for savoring at all resort bars – from the sunset-facing Laughing Waters Beach Bar to the Lapidus Lounge, paying tribute to the renowned architect who designed the resort back in the 1950s when it was known as the Arawak Hotel, as well as the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach, another cinematic wonder.

A CONNECTION TO THE CARIBBEAN, A DREAM BROUGHT HOME

“Ocho Rios is the source of wanderlust for millions of visitors from around the world, whether awakening their curiosity from the likes of a television screen or even better, from that incomparable feeling of being surrounded by its breathtaking beauty,” said Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts International. “For my family, it’s even more personal as the backdrop of some of our most pivotal moments, including along this very beach where my father grew up dreaming of an interconnected Caribbean. The descent of American Airlines A4007 represents this dream, bringing the world closer to the beauty and allure of Jamaica’s north coast – our home.”

In recognition of his remarkable achievements and steadfast commitment to the advancement of Jamaica’s travel and tourism sector, the Airports Authority of Jamaica pays tribute to Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart, founder and late chairman of Sandals Resorts International, by dedicating the Departure Hall at Ian Fleming International Airport in his honor. This gesture perpetuates a legacy that will continue to inspire generations of travelers to embrace the spirit of love and adventure.

The “Love and Let Fly” promotion is open for bookings until May 16, 2024, for travel until May 24, 2024. Guests staying five nights or more at participating Sandals Resorts and Beaches Ocho Rios can avail of this offer using promo code FLY4007.
