Kings of Leon and The War On Drugs announce Dublin show this summer

American rock icons The Kings of Leon and their support The War On Drugs are coming to Marlay Park, Dublin, this summer.

The feted rock band will perform a gig on Saturday, July 6, as a part of their Can We Please Have Fun tour.

The ticket sale for the Dublin gig will begin next week at 9am on Friday, March 1, with tickets starting at €89.75 plus fees.

Meanwhile, the presale kicks off on Wednesday, February 28, and Thursday, February 29.

The Kings of Leon’s tour will follow the release of their ninth album Can We Please Have Fun, launching on May 10.

Fans can also see the band this year in Hyde Park, London, and Silverstone at the British F1 Grand Prix.

The rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, will kick off their UK and Ireland tour in Leeds, followed by concerts in Birmingham, Bristol, London, Glasgow, Silverstone, Dublin, Nottingham, and Manchester.

The Kings of Leon formed in 2003 and have since released eight albums, selling more than 20 million albums worldwide.

They have won three Grammy awards and two BRIT Awards, and headlined major festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, and Lollapalooza.
