The highly anticipated trailer of the upcoming supernatural film Shaitaan was released on Thursday. The film stars Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and Jyotika in important roles. The trailer takes the viewers on a roller-coaster ride of heart thumping adrenaline moments and gives them a glimpse into the world of Shaitaan.

The trailer is two minutes and thirty seconds long and the leaves the audience at the edge of the seat. Shaitaan tells the story of Kabir and his family and how their fun weekend retreat turns into a nightmare. The family seeks help of a stranger. As the clock ticks the family is forced to confront their worst fears in this horror story that deals with the sinister elements of black magic.

R Madhavan says he will leave the house after 15 minutes, but he changes his mind after a while. Ajay Devgn tries to take control of the situation and starts forcing Madhavan out of the house. Ajay Devgn’s daughter confronts him and stops him from doing so. It seems she is possessed by Madhavan. The child even slaps herself under the effect of Madhavan’s hypnosis on her.

She even hits her father in the end of the trailer. The trailer ends with the question that will Ajay Devgn be able to save his daughter? Most of the shooting of Shaitaan has been done within the house. The film is a remake of the Gujarati film titled Vash. Ahead of the trailer’s release, Ajay Devgn shared this poster and he wrote Jald hi shuru hogi good Vs evil ki asli jung

Shaitaan has been produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Magat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak and has been presented by Jio Studios, Devgn Films and Panorma Studios. The film has been directed by Vikas Bahl. The film is scheduled to be released in cinemas on 8^th March 2024.

Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are all set to share screen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, a romantic comedy movie produced by Karan Jahor’s Dharma Productions.The film directed by Shashank Khaitan will be released on April 18, 2025. The film’s title was announced by Karan Johar through a short video on his Instagram account.

Taking to Instagram, Varun Dhawan and Janvhi Kapoor expressed their excitement to be a part of the film. Varun Dhawan said that he can’t wait to be back on the sets with Shashank Khaitaan and bring some fun days. Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor also posted the announcement video captioning that the film, a love story wrapped with entertainment is coming to the screens.

Both the actors recently appeared together in a romantic drama movie Bawaal, directed by Nitish Tiwari. The film received 9 nominations, including best actor in a web original film and best actress in a web original film at 2023 Filmfare OTT Awards.

Additionally, Varun Dhawan will also be seen in the upcoming action drama film Baby John, directed by Kalees and supported by Altee. The actor will be seen beside Jacky Shroff, Rajpal Yadav, Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh in the action film. Apart from this Varun Dhawan is joining the world of series with action thriller series The Indian Citadel..

Furthermore, Janhvi Kapoor will portray the character of an IPS officer in her upcoming film Uljah. The movie also features Roshan Mathew, Gulshan Devaiah and Rajesh Tailang. She will also star in Mr. And Mrs. Mahi with Rajkumar Rao, a film produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Karan Johar who is known for his successful directorial and production journey is collaborating with Varun Dhawan for the sixth time and with Janhvi Kapoor for the fourth time for this upcoming movie.

Janhvi Kapoor is also filming for the Telugu film Devara alongside Jr. NTR.

Bombay High Court on Thursday asked Netflix to arrange a special screening of the Indrani Mukerjea docuseries for the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which has been investigating the Sheena Bora case, before releasing it on the OTT platform.

Following this, Netflix assured the court that it would not release the docuseries till February 29.

The docuseries titled “The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth”, the series revolves around Mukerjea, the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case.

The central probe agency had moved a plea to stay the release of the series as the trial in the case is yet to conclude.

A division bench of Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Manjusha Deshpande directed the CBI to first watch the series on Mukerjea before making any submissions on their plea for a stay.

Expressing their concern, Netflix said that such a direction could amount to pre-censorship, however, the direction was agreed to by the OTT platform.

The CBI had objected to the release saying, that docuseries could affect the investigation of the case, its outcome and people’s perception.

The central probe agency also objected that the docuseries contained interviews with the accused and some witnesses as well.

Advocate Shreeram Shirsat, who was representing the agency, argued in court that the CBI had only viewed the trailer of the series and was unaware of the total number of witnesses interviewed in the show. As a result, the High Court directed Netflix to disclose the exact number of witnesses that have been interviewed in the series.

During the hearing, the Senior advocate Ravi Kadam represented Netflix and informed the Court that the documentary series had interviewed five witnesses, including Indrani’s son, Mikhael, and her daughter, Vidhie Mukerjea.

He further stated that the examination of two witnesses had already been concluded, while three were yet to be examined.

Upon hearing this, the Court suggested that Netflix could present the series to the CBI before the bench proceeds with the matter any further.
