Former Riverdance star Michael Flatley claims an insurance company plans to pull the cover it has been providing for his listed Co Cork period mansion.

Mr Flatley, who has brought High Court proceedings against several parties over €30m damage caused to Castlehyde Manor, claims that one of the defendants, the Irish branch of Hiscox Societe Anonyme, has said it won’t insure the property from March 8.
