Here at io9, we love nostalgic toys—whether they involve fondly remembered fast-food meals or childhood lessons about not always getting what’s on your wish list. But we also love new toys, games, and weird collectibles, even if (like these cult and horror-themed selections) they spark nightmares as well as joy.

Art the Clown

From Trick or Treat Studios, this sixth-scale collectible standing 12" tall is one of few official Art the Clown figures on the market—for now, at least; with Terrifier 3 arriving later this year, you can assume his popularity will only continue to grow and a Santa-hatted variation will one day become available. In the meantime, this $130 release (available at Sideshow) is legit alarming on its own, though Art does come with accessories including four interchangeable hands (all bloody, one wielding a scalpel) and a hacksaw.

For $140 (order from Sideshow) he comes with two interchangeable heads and a brain accessory in case he gets hungry.

You’ll have to add yourself to the NECA waitlist (do so here) to get your mitts on this $35, seven-inch figure of the villain from Eli Roth’s 2023 slasher based on a 2007 fake trailer; it sold out its pre-orders. It’s expected to ship in May, so even if you have to wait for more to become available you will hopefully still have your mitts on it before you-know-which fall holiday. The scourge of Plymouth, Massachusetts comes with “musket, sledgehammer, axe, dart gun, meat tenderizer, knives, removable hat, extra hands, and three interchangeable masks,” plus an aversion to big-box stores and a deep commitment to revenge.

NECA is now taking pre-orders for this $300 replica of one of the standouts from Gremlins 2: The New Batch—no small feat considering how many off-the-wall Gremlins were in that movie. Flash to your heart’s content with this 30" rubber and latex critter, who comes with a fabric trench coat, removable sunglasses, and a thoroughly self-satisfied smirk.

Who will survive... and what will be left of them? This board game for 2-5 players ($30 from Funko Games and $35 from Walmart) builds off one of horror’s most recognizable (and fun-to-say!) taglines by pitting the Sawyer family against trespassers who really should learn not to poke around in rural Texas. Read io9's review of the game here, including our delighted praise of the tiny Leatherface game piece.

Horrified: Universal Monsters

Horrified: Universal Monsters

There are a few Horrified variations, but film fans will want to beeline straight for this Universal Monsters-themed version. It’s a fun cooperative game (we’ve played it, and it has a refreshingly quick learning curve) for 1-5 players, with different degrees of difficulty depending on which monster you’re fighting to vanquish: Frankenstein’s monster, Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolfman, Mummy, Invisible Man, or Creature From the Black Lagoon. ($50 at Ravensburger; $36 at Amazon)

The Talk to Me “party hand” may sadly be sold out, but you can still clamp your hooves around this Pearl suckling piggy bank, released last fall to mark the film’s one-year anniversary. Made of resin crafted to resemble ceramic, it’ll run you $48 (find it in A24's appropriately unhinged online store, where the Hereditary gingerbread treehouse kit is also still available!) and is the perfect repository for all the cash you’ll need to fund your big trip to Hollywood.

For just $45 (cardboard indoor version) or $70 (corrugated plastic weatherproof version, yard stakes included; both at the NBC Store) you can let M3GAN’s unblinking stare send a message loud and clear to neighbors, family members, roommates, office mates, delivery people, and total strangers. You’ve seen the movie; you know what M3GAN’s message is! Too bad this version of her can’t bust out any bloodthirsty dance moves.
