The opening ceremony of 71^st Miss World pageant kicked off in Delhi’s the Ashoka Hotel on Tuesday evening where 115 stunning and well accomplished young women from all continents were introduced to the world in their national costumes. India’s Sini Shetty radiated red hot beauty in a luxurious Benares saree.

She said in her introduction Embracing India’s rich heritage with pride on the Miss World stage, draped in the elegance of a saree. This is me (INDIA). She took to her Instagram handle and shared dazzling pictures and videos that set the internet on fire. She said tracing back thousands of years in Indian history, the saree is a symbol of rich history of India’s culture and showcases the deep-rooted traditions which weave the fabric identity of India.

Talking about her choice of dress for the Miss World opening ceremony Sini Shetty Shetty said this timeless attire embodies, grace, dignity and the essence of femininity. She said she is thrilled to step into this legacy and to drape herself in this Banarasi Silk Saree by Jayanti Reddy.

The saree carries the old world charm and understated elegance, championing indigenous fabrics that are naturally dyed which celebrate the art of hand-woven textiles. The saree is adorned with intricate hand embroidery, the craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail and elevates the designs. She said this makes a classical and deeply personal fashion statement.

The red silk Banarasi saree with border was elegantly contrasted with a purple embroided blouse. The elegant saree is credited to designer Jayanti Reddy’s luxury label which is known for its classy and chic couture collections. The brand exemplifies traditional clothing with a unique sense of style and minimalist design. It portrays old world charm and understated elegance with a strong emphasis on indigenous fabric which is naturally dyed.

Actors Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani got married in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony on Wednesday in Goa. A Sindhi ceremony will take place afterwards. The couple was joined by family and closest friends at ITC Grand South Goa. Shilpa Shetty, Ayushmann Khurana, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Esha Deol, Tahira Kashyap and David Dhawan are also present at the wedding.

According to reports Rakul Preet Singh’s Chuddha ceremony is going to take place in the morning. The couple will take 7 pheras after 3:30pm at the ITC Grand South Goa. Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani will have two wedding ceremonies, Anand Karaj and Sindhi–style ceremony.

The married couple will appear before the media for a photo shoot outside the hotel. They are also expected to share their first official wedding pictures after both the ceremonies have taken place. The pre-wedding festivities started on February 19. The couple made their relationship official in October 2021. The newlyweds will also give a after party for their near and dear ones

Talking about her relationship Rakul Preet Singh said everybody likes stability and she is glad they found that in each other. She said both of them are similar to each other, and that is the most comforting part that they don’t want to bring any change in one another.

Upcoming projects of Jackky Bhagnani include the release of his next production Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The film has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha and Prithviraj Sukumaran in important roles.

Upcoming films of Rakul Preet Singh include Indian 2 alongside Kamal Haasan. The film also stars Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar in important roles. The first past released in 1996 and starred Kamal Haasan in the role of an aged freedom fighter who starts a war against corruption.

There were several speculations about Anushka Sharma’s pregnancy in the last few months. Though the actor kept herself away from public appearances, she was spotted with her baby bump during the ODI World Cup where she was supporting her husband, Virat Kohli. Nonetheless, they never confirmed the news earlier. Reportedly, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are in London, where they allegedly welcomed their second child. 

Shortly after the announcement, social media got engrossed in discussions related to the meaning of the baby boy’s name. Notably, in Sanskrit, Akaay means formless or immortal and in Turkish language the word ‘Akaay’ means shining moon. The couple’s daughter Vamika, who was born in 2021 was named after Goddess Durga.

Besides, Bollywood celebrities, sports personalities from cricket also congratulated the couple. Sachin Tendulkar and Virendra Sehwag also shared the news on their respective social media platforms.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli got married in December 11, 2017 in a private ceremony in Italy.
