Phoenix Stage Company announced auditions for its production of “The Legend of Georgia McBride” by Matthew Lopez.
Auditions will be held on Monday, Feb. 26 and Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 7-9 p.m. at the theater located at 133 Main Street in Oakville.
The company is seeking four men and one woman.
The production will be directed by Michael Calabrese. Performance dates are May 4-18 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8p.m., Sundays at 3 p.m. Rehearsals will be held Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The story is a broke young man who just found his wife is going to have a baby. As the show begins he has been fired from his gig as an Elvis impersonator and he’s been replaced by a drag show.
