I MEAN, IT, IT BEAT OUT A BUNCH OF OTHER WHISKEYS THAT WE TASTED THAT NIGHT, AND IT WAS A TASTING, AND THEN WE HAD SOME FUN AFTER. BUT, UH, THIS PARTICULAR ONE STUCK OUT BECAUSE IT WAS SUPER INVITING WITHOUT BEING BORING AND I THINK THAT’S LIKE CLASSIC AND ALIGNS TO WHAT THE FRAZIER IS SUPER EXCITING AND VERY INVITING. LOTS OF REALLY COOL THINGS. AND IT’S NOT YOUR TYPICAL BORING MUSEUM THAT SOME PEOPLE MAY NOT LOVE. AND SO THIS WHISKEY IS ONE THAT THAT THAT I’M SUPER EXCITED THAT WE’RE THAT’S SO COOL. This year is a big one for the Frazier History Museum.All year, the museum will be celebrating it's 20th anniversary of serving and educating our community.On Wednesday, the first museum barrel pull of the year will take place. The year kicks off with a barrel from Blue Run Bourbon.Blue Run released its first bourbons in October of 2020; Head of Consumer Experience Trey Wade thinks their roots run deep, though they are a relatively new brand. "We are Blue Run, which is actually a place in Georgetown, Kentucky, that the locals call the blue run that comes off the Royal Spring actually fed the distillery that Elijah Craig had in Georgetown," Wade said.A special event is being held in honor of the barrel pull at the Frazier Museum at 6:30 P.M Thursday.When it came time to pick the first barrel of the year, the President and CEO of the Frazier Museum, Andy Treinan, told WLKY Blue Run was a natural choice. "Blue Run has done this in the blink of an eye," Treinan said. "They have done it with Kentucky Tradition out of Georgetown." Both Spring Break and Summer Camps at the Frazier Museum are now open for enrollment.
