Raleigh man appears in court for murder charge after shooting at apartment complex
Pacheco Valentin is charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of a woman.
A Raleigh man facing a murder charge appeared in court on Wednesday.
Pacheco Valentin, 33, is charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of a woman on Tuesday at a northeast Raleigh apartment complex.
On Wednesday, Valentin was appointed an attorney from the capital defenders office. Valentin is due in court next on March 13.
Raleigh police responded to a report of a shooting at about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at Lexington on the Green Apartment Homes in the 5100 block of North New Hope Road.
Police confirmed around 4:32 p.m. Tuesday that the woman died from her injuries.
