A man has been arrested and charged in a crash that killed a 40-year-old mother of two last month.Adam Sanders, 42, of La Grange, was indicted Tuesday on charges of murder, wanton endangerment and driving under the influence. He is accused of crashing into a vehicle and killing 40-year-old Erendida Lane on Jan. 13 on Taylorsville Lake Road:Lane's 14-year-old daughter, Sophia, was also in the vehicle. She was hurt and taken to Norton Children's Hospital for care. Police say witnesses told them that the vehicle Sanders was driving had been swerving erratically.Police say Sanders swerved into the southbound lanes and Lane's vehicle head-on. Lane was the wife of Louisville Metro Police Sgt. Chris Lane.Lane's name may sound familiar. He was at a construction site on I-264 in 2021 when a gunman killed a worker. Sanders is also charged with criminal mischief and speeding 13 mph over the limit. He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections, and a bond has been set at $100,000.
