Cameras catch Jurgen Klopp raging at Liverpool fans in touchline outburst at Anfield

Jurgen Klopp hit out at the Anfield atmosphere once again during the 4-1 victory over Luton.

The Liverpool boss was seen angrily turning to the crowd behind him and furiously flapping his arms to question their reaction to a misplaced pass in the first-half.

He was visibly angry with the atmosphere

The Reds found themselves 1-0 down to the relegation strugglers when the incident occurred, with both players and supporters rather flat.

Some of the crowd could be heard groaning when Harvey Elliott overhit a pass to Luis Diaz in the 42nd minute, sparking the manager's outburst.

A raging Klopp appeared to tell supporters behind him to clap instead - and stared them down in bewilderment after a series of frenzied hand gestures.

Speaking pre-match, the German had encouraged the Anfield faithful to create a Champions League-style atmosphere.

He said: "Everyone who enters the gate to Anfield has to be on their toes."

Klopp added: “We need Anfield, we need Anfield 100 per cent – it must be a European night in England.”

At the start of the second half, it was Virgil van Dijk who caused Anfield to perk up, scoring in the 56th minute before Cody Gakpo added another, Luis Diaz bagged a third and Elliott made it 4-1.

Speaking to talkSPORT after the game, Klopp explained: "The crowd needed to get used to the game as well, you’re 1-0 down and you don’t score immediately and you go, [groans].

"You play a bad pass, you see it and you can hear it already. It’s not bad, but just not helpful.
