One of my pet hates is having to deal with utility companies. It doesn’t matter whether they’re selling electricity, gas or telecoms — if you’re dependent on something coming onto your property through a pipe or a cable, God help you if you ever need to engage with a human.
However, this week I got to see both extremes of the country’s national service providers.
