Two-time CIF-SS Open Division champion Orange Lutheran leads seven Orange County girls water polo teams into the CIF Southern California Regional on Tuesday.

The Lancers (28-0) are seeded first in Division 1 and are three victories away from becoming the first county team to finish undefeated since Laguna Beach in 2016-17. They open against No. 8 La Jolla at Orange Coast College at 6:15 p.m.

Division 1 also includes Mater Dei, defending champion Foothill and Newport Harbor.

The Knights play host to San Marcos on Tuesday at 5 p.m. San Marcos landed one of the two openings created from Division 1 champion Corona del Mar and Division 1 runner-up JSerra declining their automatic bids to the regional playoff.

Corona del Mar coach Marc Hunt said his team would be missing players for the regional. JSerra coach Natalie Seidemann said her squad is dealing with injuries and wanted to end its season with the Division 1 title match.

Newport Harbor plays at San Diego Open Division champion The Bishop’s at 11 a.m. The Sailors lost to The Bishop’s 12-10 earlier in the season.

Division 2 features San Clemente, Sunny Hills and Division 4 champion Rosary. The Tritons, semifinalists in CIF-SS Division 1, claimed the third seed behind Division 2 champion Alta Loma and Valhalla.

The Division 1-3 semifinals and finals will be held Friday and Saturday at Mt. SAC.
